# CSV

> Query from a CSV file in Equals

You can connect to and query any CSV file directly from your Equals workbook.

1. Head to the *Datasource* page from the Equals home screen
2. If you're yet to add a datasource, you will see a list of available datasources. Otherwise, click *New Datasource* in the top right corner.
3. Select *CSV File*, then give your datasource a name that will be used throughout Equals.
4. Upload your CSV file.
5. Select *Create datasource*.

Now, you can navigate to a workbook and open the *Connections* panel to query data directly from your CSV.
