# Query views from a workbook

> Query a synced view from any Equals workbook for further analysis

Once a view has been synced, any user with [access](https://docs.equals.com/docs/managing-access-to-views) to its underlying datasource will be able to [query](https://docs.equals.com/docs/building-queries) that view from any Equals workbook for further analysis.

To do so, first open an Equals workbook. Then select **`Connect data`** in the top right corner.

From here:

1. Select the datasource your view has been synced to.
2. Select either the query builder or SQL editor.
3. Query the view as you would any other table in the data schema. You'll need to select the table name that corresponds with the view as it is reflected in view settings.
