Using your ARR Build views
Learn how to use your ARR Build for analysis in any Equals workbook
Your ARR Build includes clean, analysis-ready views of your Stripe data, which can be used to build accurate ARR analyses and reporting. These views include:
- ARR Build Daily by Customer: Aggregates ARR movements for each active customer by day
- ARR Build Invoice Items: Displays each line item or discount from invoices in your Stripe instance, along with any associated ARR contributions.
How are they generated?
While views are generally configured using custom SQL, your ARR Build views are automatically generated based on how your business recognizes ARR. Upon signup, your views are auto-generated based on the default configuration, which you can modify at any time. View this article for full details on configuration settings.
Where are they stored?
The Daily by Customer
and Invoice Items
views are automatically kept in sync with Stripe and stored in your Equals Warehouse. This means any members in your workspace can safely query these views from any workbook (or from another view) for further analysis without impacting the underlying data.
Who can access them?
Access to your ARR Build is based on permissions for the underlying Stripe datasource. To give users access to your ARR Build, you'll need to grant them access to the Stripe datasource.
Users with access to the corresponding Stripe datasource can:
- View, create, modify, or delete your ARR Build.
- Query your ARR Build views from any workbook.
How do you query them?
You'll need to connect a sheet in a workbook to your Stripe datasource. Here's how:
